If you've slept on RDR for the past 11 years, then there's no point in getting the vanilla version for $8. Wait for the GOTY version to be on sale for at most $5 more, like it has been numerous times before.

Native 4k 60FPS is an upgrade on the One X. Series has no problem with it while the Series S can only output 1440p 120hz.

When you go back the mechanics of the horse riding is terrible but man the story is so good you get over it. The Undead Nightmare addon was unbelievable too. I absolutely recommend playing this.

Rumors are they're doing it with RDR2's engine, but Rockstar are notoriously tight lipped about what they're up to so who knows, all we have are rumors right now. I'd love to see a RDR1+2 bundle deal, for PC.

Iagree I picked up RDR GOTY almost 5 years ago now for $10, it's been on sale for that price many times since then and I recommend getting that instead of this.

Unfortunately there is no digital GOTY edition only physical.

It bugs me that they don't have a 1:1 digital counterpart to the GOTY physical edition. How much extra does the DLC cost? I have it physical already so not a huge deal, but it's enough friction that I think I end up playing this less often than I otherwise would. When I start up my XSX I don't like hearing the disc drive spin up to check which disc is in there! LOL

Rumors of a RDR1+2 remaster are also pretty thick, and started years ago. That also impacts my willingness to sink time into the original!

As far as I know the GOTY has all the DLC, including Undead Nightmare.
