Is this the kind of shampoo and conditioner where it works great, but if you stop using it, it destroys your hair?

My Grandpa on my mother's side and my father both had hair loss (dad went completely bald on top and Grandpa had the large circle of baldness on top of his head. My hairline started receding right out of high school.

Thanks, your comment and the $45 price on amazon and also great reviews sold me. One last question though, usage varies of course so just ballpark but how long are my three bottles going to last me before I have to start hunting for another deal on it?

Fortunately no, it does not destroy your hair when you stop using it. I used it for maybe 8 months and it lessened the amount of hair I was loosing but only by a little. My hair was shiny and nice but I needed a clarifying shampoo from time to time because it would cause buildup on my scalp. I discontinued use and grabbed a SD on SheaMoisture Intensive Hydration Conditioner which made my hair loss down to about 10 strands of hair between washing, towel drying, and combing my hair. I also use EVOO on my hair every week or two. Cover my scalp and sleep with my head on a towel, showering during the day. It has made a mega difference. I do not suggest this brand and SheaMoisture is just what finally worked for me. I don't know if it will work the same for you.

My wife bought this last month for saving my hair from loss. Smells nice...and I can't tell yet if has any impact for the price that we pay but...I like it.

The 16oz Amazon size bottle lasted me about 9 months when pumping ~one time per day (so probably 200-250 pumps). If using this larger 24oz size once per day, you're likely to to see it last one year or more. Please note that I only needed one pump because at the time, I had a buzz cut so I barely had any hair at all. Now that I grew out my hair, I require two pumps per use.

Now that I only use it twice a week, I expect one bottle to last me almost 2 years lol. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

Bought this for my Mom a few years back. She's been using it ever since. Says it's quite noticeable how often she has to clean hair from her hairbrush. It's been nice for her to not be so alarmed at the amount of hair she was shedding before.

This is an anti-breakage shampoo. It only claims to reduce loss from hair breakage, it's not going to do anything for alopecia

This stuff doesn't do anything. Infact I believe hair loss continued at a more accelerated rate
