Most standard 120mm should work. OK cooler keeping temps on my 10900 (non-K) CPU in lows 30s C under normal usage, while my room temp is around 25 C.
Thank you. I bought 5-pack Arctic P12 120mm fans from the deal posted here. I will do push-pull on the fins. It will hopefully decrease another 5 C on my 5GHz 10850k.
Thank you. I think cooler master is better than this vetroo. But when this vetroo was posted, the cooler master is in the range of $30-$40, otherwise I would have bought cooler master.
I am just curious. In your mind, why is that a far better deal than this?
Youre delusional if you think the Hyper 212 is a much better cooler than this. The Vetroo cooler actually performs very well. Go read a review on it.... The Hyper 212 is just a well known name but really just another budget cooler out there. I would guess they are very similar in thermals to each other. The Vetroo actually has more heatpipes so its very possible it even performs better.
Neither of these coolers are top tier air coolers, they are just decent bang 4 buck.
Installed mine on a 5600X that was running with the stock wraith. I was thinking of getting a be quiet cooler, but wasn't liking the price if the rest of my fans and the GPU in the case were noisy. (I have ordered the 5-pack of Arctic 120 PWM PSTs)
Just playing Apex (not GPU or CPU stress testing) that thing would get hot, about 60c IIRC, with the wraith. I should have paid better attention to numbers before removing the wraith. wraith is noisy, I didn't like it.
I do not overclock, not changing voltages, and the CPU fan RPM is default whatever gigabyte X570 Aorus defaults at.
With this cooler, idle at 32c, running prime95, all 6 cores peak over 4,400MHz, temp maxes in 53c. I thought the 5600X was supposed to boost to 4.6, but I've not seen that. Not sure if that is due to the temps, or not enough power at default.

It's almost identical to the Hyper 212 Black Edition in design and mounting mechanisms, but this one has 5 copper heatpipes vs 4 on the Hyper 212 BE.

Seems like a nice cooler for the price.
