I learned my lesson with 3rd party toners when one of them leaked and ruined my laser printer (streaks everywhere, despite replacing the toner and cleaning the inside of the printer as best as I can).

Looks like that has only ever happened once. It's been around $290 until covid hit, when it jumped to as high as $420, then jumped back and forth from $400 (MSRP) to the current $319 price.

TRUTH .. just got an Epson WF-7840 for the office and in a month that thing ate $80 in ink. The B&W HP laser we used for 7 years without a toner replacement. And that cost me $60 of eBay to replace. Ridiculous.
