This is on sale again. It's probably getting close to the standard price but it's not available everywhere.

It's also $40 on Gamefly right now if you don't mind used. The cases look new from Gamefly.

Did they ever fix the slowdown on this game? When it first came out, people were mentioning that it had constant FPS drops.

This is the reason why I haven't purchased it too. It just runs awful. Playing the demo the game just chugs.

Strangely there's been no "official" analysis of the final retail version of the game, just the demo (which ran incredibly bad). But from the few reviews I've scanned, performance has been mentioned as a low-point so I'd not hope for any drastic changes from the demo.

TL;DR - Performance sucks in the game still, yes.

Great! Just ordered this one. Made it sweeter with some PayPal credit I had. Never had a bad experience with GameFly. For some reason I was only able to see my shopping cart on mobile, just in case anyone is having some similar problems.

I have played about 2/3's of the way through the game have not noticed a drop in FPS / slow down even once.

That being said....the game is mostly mindless button pushing, reacting to a depleting enemy pie chart, and waiting for special skill bars to recharge. Honestly the first 20 minutes is exactly the same is every other 20 minutes in the game. You'll NEVER catch yourself saying "oh man, that was cool" or "I didn't see that coming." And no matter how far you get in the same, nothing new will present itself. Somehow Hyrule Warriors manages to repeat its one game mechanic, over and over, without being too boring.

I doubt I'll bother finishing the game.

I thought the game held its FPS fairly well. I enjoyed the story and the game, but then again I am Zelda fan. It is repetitive and easy but thought the game was still fun. It's a button masher / hack slash . Co-op was fun.

$20 to $30 feels like the proper price. I bought the game at $49 over at Walmart

I was just about to mention this. Gamefly used games always look new for me.
