I had the aluminum on my first round of this product, which I scratched once and replaced and then shattered another.

I currently have a S4 in SS and I recommend the extra money here. It is much more durable, and I have yet to scratch it. I seem to always bump it on things, walking upstairs, etc. I'm not sold on the replacement cost for me on what adds an always on display.

This is a great deal, and worth the upgrade if you are rocking S3 or older and looking to replace. Do the stainless. It's worth the cash.

Still about $50 too much.

Same version of series 6 is typically about $150 more on Walmart's website.

That 2x brighter always on display is a big diff. Maybe not a $200 difference, but series 7 is 5-6 months away.

That is a great price. 44 mm also at $ 449.

If I didn't have the Black SS 4 series, I would be all over it.

Costco only sells the aluminum, not the stainless steel (which retails at $700+). This is also the GPS + Cellular model.

Thank you. The Family Setup wasn't posted when I started my comment. It's the perfect solution. It also has other options available to the parents such as to keep the watch from becoming a distraction during school hours.

The watch has its own phone number. I think that"s primarily for billing purposes. Both the phone and watch ring when someone calls you. That could be a problem. If in class, he can just turn the sound off. It's a great safety device for kids. Less likely to lose it. You can put a phone icon on the face, which let's him quickly call you in case of emergency.

I guess not bad if you need new? But I would double check with eBay prices if you didn't need new, after tax this seems a little high, especially for the small one

Edit- Just saw this was the stainless steel one, that does make it better, But I would still double check, you have to with every slick deal nowadays

How is this a good price? I bought Apple watch 5 from Target last year at $360 (including taxes) last year in Feb. It was a 40 mm watch.

If you want to use GPS for Running (distance accuracy for marathon, or any race), you must pick Apple Watch 6 series, which does according to reviews pick up sharp corners/turns (like letter L) more closely than smoothing out with curves ( like letter C).

The 40mm SS are about 250 on Ebay for used good condition....might still be under warranty as well....The 44mm SS start out at $280, without accessories....so if you dont need brand new, that might be a better buy
