This is the one game that Sony should really release as a monthly PS+ game just to boost the users.

It's a great game but for those unfamiliar; it is not a traditional game with a story or multiplayer. It's more like pretty Minecraft or like... YouTube for gaming. It's an awesome way to play incredibly clever content from users. It is super powerful if you have a creative interest, but it is also great if you want to play a crazy range of different looking games or different genres. Some games take hours, some take minutes, some are just art to enjoy.

At this price, I'd say it is hard not to find plenty of games already on it's user playlists to get your money's worth.

I would be in except for the fact that this is exactly the type of title that will go for free on PS+ the minute I buy it.

For anyone who is a musician, this game is easily worth $10 for the music component alone. Just look up a couple of YouTube videos on the Dreams music generator and you will see what I mean. The music generator in this game is better than some of the really expensive programs for computers.

How convenient is the UI on PS4. I have trouble to play minecraft/sims on PS4, as it is annoying to play without a proper keyboard/mouse. I had the same problem in Far Cry 5 where you could create your own map etc.. but it is totally useless UI on PS4 controller. Not to mention very little community.. so convince me dreams has a direction on PS4.

The controls are a bit wrong from FPS controls in that Move left/right and Move forward/backward are on separate sticks. It will take some time to get used to, but once you do, it works really well because they've also added motion control for the Look input.

I've had this game since launch and after trying out some of the user created levels as well as the developer team created stuff (including that "Godzilla" like one) it's sat in my backlog.

Heads up for anyone on the fence about this: look for a pre-owned copy at Gamestop. Why? They currently have a 4 for $20 sale for pre-owned games $9.99 or less. This should qualify for it.

If you're looking for it a little cheaper then you can also check Walmart as some stores have it for as low as $7.50.
