That configuration is a steal. When you get to the page you might look for a tab to pick the GPU. You won't find it. You have to change the CPU to change the GPU.
At that price this should be instant front page!
It will display:
The price of this product has changed from $1,439.99 to $1,384.99 since you added it to cart.

I know it's more expensive, but it is 100% a Max P 3070 with 16 GB of 3200 RAM, and a 5800H... and it's not HP. Don't have many good experiences with HP.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
I tell myself I won't make the mistake again, yet here I am, lurking SD, tempted to pull the trigger yet again.
Must ...refrain ...
But for all the people who end up becoming lucky to make this deal work for 1279-$1300ish, then BF/Christmas of 2021 came early for you and this deal is a steal for the 3070 model.
and it takes the crown away from every Rtx 30 series deal so far, and last year's Asus g14 open box for $980. The 3060 deal is also good, but we'll probably see this price + config come back again later this year on future sales. 1000-$1150 seems to be the new "going sale rate" for 3060 this entire year, depending on other specs cpu, ram, ssd etc.
(The 3070 model is a more powerful better future proofed machine at a savings of $300. Not sure if Rtx 3070/mq with Ryzen 7 5800h cpu will come any lower than this all year, maybe $50-100 less by end of year holiday sales).

I'm using a 15.6" Omen with a 1060 that has a number pad right now. Wonder why they decided to get rid of it.
