That configuration is a steal. When you get to the page you might look for a tab to pick the GPU. You won't find it. You have to change the CPU to change the GPU.
At that price this should be instant front page!
It will display:
The price of this product has changed from $1,439.99 to $1,384.99 since you added it to cart.

I know it's more expensive, but it is 100% a Max P 3070 with 16 GB of 3200 RAM, and a 5800H... and it's not HP. Don't have many good experiences with HP.

I tried to change the shipping address without help. Long waiting hours on tel, etc.
Just make sure to make up your mind before placing your order!
Will be at my desk most if not all the time and need to connect to:
-4K monitor
-LAN
-speakers
Current (non-gaming) laptop uses one thunderbolt cable to hub, including for power. How would this setup compare?
I was waiting to do a self build desktop (i7/11x + 3060 @ ~$1000) but this R7/5800 + 3070 for $1300 is very appealing.
In fact, the use of such stickers could get the Manufacturer in deep legal trouble.
I get it... it's great to get something for a good price, and... maybe it will all be fine? Take a chance! That's the draw. The gambler in me imagines the great deal and everything being ok.
But I feel like it's better to not reward companies like this. Just don't deal with them. Unfortunately the "good" retailers for computers seems like a short list. Based on my limited experience and SD feedback, I'd say:
1) Costco... by a wide margin.
2) Walmart.
3)?

The difference here, if I understand correctly: there is no PD on gaming laptops so would need to plug in power. Net difference = two plugs to the laptop, a USB C cable plus power cable. Right?
(I know, first world problems.)
Price cannot be beaten. Who cares about waiting? Personally in no rush, so I can wait a month for this thing. It's only 27 days now. Have had many legion machines, so sick of the design and noise. Tons of issues with the legion machines I've had. Not trying that again.

Best deal I've seen all year considering you get one of the best CPUs everyone's been wanting plus a well balanced great gpu RTX 3070 (even if it is only a mq).
When compared to past comparable gaming laptops like this. eg. costco msi RTX 2070 laptop for $1200 during black friday, Dell Alienware RTX 2070, or Legion5Ryzen+2060/ Legion7 with RTX 2070, MSI RTX 2070 super deals,
this seems better than all of them for only $50 to $150 more. If I was in the market I'd definitely consider this.
---------
Before this deal, something like this was costing a minimum of $1560 eg. Gigabyte from that odd website. Hope everyone enjoys their 3070, regardless if it is maxQ or maxP.
---------
Those who pass up on this deal, should either look for an unbelievable under $1000 laptop with rtx 3060 with i5/ ryzen5 like at Walmart or BB open box,
or
just save up for a desktop RTX 3070 and leave this in the dust..
---------
Extra thoughts: even the OP's Rtx 3060 ryzen5 laptop deal is a nice upgrade over the popular Legion 5 Ryzen7 rtx2060 for $1029.99 from eBay last couple months.
(Really sweet deal with -$55 student discount for $1095.)
