I tried trading in an S4. The trade-in value is 400, but they are calculating the price without the instant rebate, so it's not $400 off this listed price.

That's the order they were released, but not necessarily the quality or bang for buck. Buds Live got so-so reviews for their fit and underwhelming noise cancelling compared to the Buds+. Pro are the latest and greatest though

How did you guys qualify for EPP? I ordered a s7 128g earlier in the week and didn't get free headphones. I will trade in an iPad form250 so I paid 430 out the door. Should I contact support to get the headphones or was that just for the +?

Entirely depends on your ecosystem. I can't stand ipads, been loving my tab s6 lite, s6, and now 7+. I'm heavily invested in the Samsung ecosystem though, watches, buds, phone, etc. The way it all works together is great. Probably similar to the experience of having an all Apple ecosystem.

My S7 was shipped out the day after placing order but shipping got delayed by FedEx and stuck in Memphis. I have 2 packages at work stuck in Memphis for a week before resume delivery. I have read up to 3 weeks delay is possible as they are overwhelmed in their sorting facility with all the packages accumulated in the last 2 weeks.

Valid point although the lives do retail higher so technically it makes for a better deal.

Other than that,

iPads destroy it in

- performance
- ecosystem
- actual tablet apps/software
- design / durability
- better speakers

But for that price ($525) it's an insane deal.

So technically it's better but this should have been normal price for it
