Not a horrible nor great deal. Low selection. Only has 4 options, 3 are kits (drill, 1/4 impact driver, 3/8 impact wrench) which include batteries and 1 is bare tool (recip saw). Offer valid 3/1/21 - 4/28/21. All options are currently $99 with free $79 value battery

No... even the lowest quality Dewalt 20 volt brushed will have more power then this 12 volt. These do have great power for their size, but these are meant for size/ weight convenience, not power. Also the larger amp battery does NOT increase power... only runtime.

You dont have to drag both your drill and impact at the same time.

Note this is Dewalt top of line 12v. IF your kit is also top of line Bosch, then it should be comparable.

Edit: Wrong word. Cant imagine to "drag" a 12v tool.

I bought mine locally, with no issues at all. Used the $20 off $100 coupon, added 5 red lowe's carpenter pencils for exactly $1.00 as filler. Came off without a hitch, picked everything up the next day. This is a no-brainer for only $80 plus local tax. You can sell the tool or the battery if you don't need both, and recover most of what you paid.

Yes and more.... the brushless 12v DCF801 [dewalt.com] has 1450 in/lbs, while the 20v brushed DCF885 [dewalt.com] has 1400 in/lbs. The 12v brushless clearly has as much or more power over the 20v brushed.

No, numbers from DeWalt, the manufacture are more relevant than our opinion.... where guessing, I have been wrong before and why I look up the specs before buying. Torque and voltage are not necessarily on a rising parallel scale. If I were in the 12v line, yea, this deal would work.

For compactness, power and cost, I like the 20v brushless Atomic drill line.... and because we have about 60 batteries in use with more on the shelf. I cannot say the Atomic will hold up as well as the XR line, but having bought a couple of the DCD709 [dewalt.com]'s on the HD deals, we will see.
