Amazon has just matched the price although they won't have it in stock until Mar 12 as I type this.

Link [amazon.com]

I still had my Discovercard coupon so I got it for $99.99. Smilie

Best Buy is the better deal as you get points for your purchase.

Is this one better than the WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s M.2 2280 Solid State Drive - WDS100T2B0B for $105 from Newegg?

Depends, do you need a SATA M.2 or an NVME M.2? If your system can support NVME go with it as the speeds are faster than SATA.

I linked the wrong WD Blue, The NVME version is also $105

That's right! You get 1% (or $1.10 for this purchase) for a regular Best Buy member or 2% for an elite.

Seems the Corsair P5 is faster. You can click the 1TB to compare both.

I would take this Crucial over WD Blue as it is faster while all the other things (quality, warranty, and etc.) are comparable.

Agreed especially since they're the same price. On a side note, this crucial p5 or this refurbished Samsung?

On the fence for this one. Yes, the warranties vary tremendously.

Any storage experts have opinions on this vs the Hynix p31 as far as performance and thermals? Hynix is regularly on sale for under 100 bucks, but not sure if I can wait until it's on sale again.

Samsung, Hynix/Intel, Micron/Crucial, and Kioxia/WD/Toshiba are all top tier manufacturers. Their equivalent models with similar specs are pretty comparable, although some might edge out better than the others when you run benchmarks.

Yes WD Blue is DRAMless and uses SLC as cache. This one has DRAM.
