Tom's HW review says the crucial P5 runs quite hot. If you need an m.2 drive for a laptop you might consider a Hynix Gold P31. With $10 AMZ coupon it goes for $119.

I bought the Inland (Micro Center brand) 1TB for $129 and have had no issues with my PS5. I've even had it installed with no heatsink and just kept the metal cover off and so far no issues. Hope this helps.
