There's something funky about the battery packs as per the link. Each pack appears to have a label displaying "3.2v 56aH". Are you using 4 of these in series and then 5 in parallel? That would be 12.8v at 280aH. And are you using any type of bms?

Questions for those in the know:

What's the reasonable useful life expectancy for something like this? I would think 1-2 years but is it reasonable to expect 5 years?

What's the best way to preserve the batteries in this? Do you want to charge it once every other month if not in use?

Your much better off with the battery you picked up. It will have plenty of juice for everything you want to do with it.

That UPS isn't made to recharge your phone and laptop and it's heavy.
Thank you!

For occasional power outage. I need enough juice to power my wifi router and recharge laptops and cell phones for a few hours. I have a separate backup battery for my FiOS modem since that unit is located in our garage.

Would a UPS like this give me longer run time? https://slickdeals.net/f/14861383-starts-on-3-3-21-cyberpower-1500va-900watts-true-sine-wave-uninterruptible-power-supply-ups-149-99-fs-costco-members-online-only
NO! That's a UPS, only meant to give enough time to shutdown your equipment. It lasts less than 3 min if you actually try to draw 900w

Do you think the Bluettis and Jackerys of the world are worth the premium vs. these no name chinese brands? I have both and am starting to lean towards the cheaper brands.
Bluetti AC30 300w is far superior on sale now for $199 there was a deal posted here just recently there was also a bundle to include 150w solar panel.
Please look at it and fact-check it for yourself...

This battaty will run a diesel heater? Wouldn't the diesel heater run on diesel itself hence the name "diesel heater"?!
Apparently they usually have a fan and also use hit a battery had on startup
