Costco Members: T-Mobile $300 BYOD Costco Cash Offer YMMV

+20 Deal Score
27,747 Views
Through 3-4-20 Get $300 for for activating a new line of service with port-in and bringing your own device from Verizon or AT&T. Max 2 two $300 Costco Cash Card's per Wireless Account. Cash Cards issued within 14 Weeks after activation and submittal of rebate form.

The offer is not on the Costco/Wireless Advocates Website, but it was given to me at the kiosk and was told this is a national offer. The rebate paperwork I was given/submitted confirmed the above.

This is one of the more generous switch offers I've seen recently for BYOD, only higher offer I can recall was during the Black Friday Shopping Period when $350 was being offered to switch. The only higher offer in recent Happy deal hunting.

Is there anything in terms/conditions that say how long you need to keep service for?

I've copied out the T&C's from my paperwork and pasted them here:

Note that the promotion code for this offer is M00002877

Correction: Max 12 rebates per account (ha!)

It's purposely vague, I've pasted the T&C's here: https://pastebin.com/25He8a4J

You definitely have to keep service for at least 14 weeks. But beyond that, you'll already have the cash card, so that's that, right?

I just got a free Moxie hotspot from ATT.
Can I get this rebate by porting its ATT number?

In addition to the ATT hotspot, I have an inactive TMO compatible phone available.
Can I get this rebate by switching?

According to the T&C's it appears it only needs to be a new line of service.
My previous comment of port in required is incorrect and a port in is not required. Only a new activation of service.
