Tool Nut has the DCST922B bare tool 20V max 14 in. folding string trimmer.

Price on page is $129. When I added it to my cart it took $10 off and added a 5aH Li-Ion battery.

Similar to another deal currently posted for $99 for the bare-tool except this includes a battery if you need one for an additional $20 as long as the coupon adds.

DCST922B is a Baretool (B at the end of the model number) and it states "Tool Only" on their website. However it is confusing as their webpage also states 5.0aH in the title.

Edit: Since I'd like the battery for $20 I'd rather go for the sure thing personally. Both good deals regardless.

My impression is that the battery isn't bundled, so they are selling you the model without the battery and then separately including a battery.

Yeah. Pretty good chance this is Tool Only. Even though it says 5ah in the title as well. It specifically states "TOOL ONLY" on the end of title.

I gave them a call. At first the CSR stated that it isn't included but they would add it (as you had stated). He immediately called me back and said upon further investigation that it appeared it doesn't come with the battery.

So I would imagine it is a toss up.

I went all the way to checkout with fastenersinc and there was no mention of battery.... But, I did buy this OP after snatchlax17 gave me a heads up in that same thread for the extra $10 off that shows up in cart.... In stock, trimmer, 5ah battery and delivered for 126 and change...

The battery was not included in the cart at checkout, their order desk says a battery is not included, so presuming fastenersinc is going to include from a glitch in the title that never specifically says battery, but does say twice it is bare tool, just sounds like creating problems that is not like returning to the local box store. If folks get it, they saved $20, but I went for the sure thing since I am having delivered elsewhere as a gift.

Well ya did it, you finally got me to order the string trimmer. I've opened every other Dewalt thread with these deals but there was always some small discrepancy that got me to leave it (Grainger says 13in but lists the 14 in. / fasteners wasn't sure if battery came with, Acme was backordered)
but 10 dollars extra off and everything looks right... super duper. Thanks OP.

I guess Dewalt achieved their goal as well since I am just getting deeper and deeper into that eco system.

Pretty much the normal.... once invested in a battery and charger brand, that is what people buy.

Nevertheless, I have bit on the Home Depot Ryobi deals for flood/work lights that were just too cheap with two 4amp batteries, charger and carrying case.

Great deal! Funny series of orders and cancellations for me the past day and a half. I got the $60 5 Ah battery at Fastener Inc because it seemed like a good deal. Then when I saw the string trimmer on sale as well, I decided to look more carefully and saw the trimmer+battery deal was better at Acme. Now this deal is $10 cheaper and free shipping saving me $18 from the Acme deal. Just cancelled at Acme, and they were back ordered to April as well. Thanks OP!
