The sound is terrific. However there is a limited per micro SD card of 128gb. In addition, the music needs to be imported into the device. You can not simply insert an SD card and listen.

Buttons rock. You don't have to look at the thing to track fwd, volume down, etc. I know... silly. I'm such a boomer.

If you're taking the trouble to play your own music files supposedly on a hi-fi device... why the hell would you care if there's bluetooth on it? Some of these posts make no sense and clearly aren't the audience for this device.

Sound quality produced, and that heard is affected by ambient noise.

When one is inside, it's easy to hear the quietest passages, the highest pitched notes because the ambient noise is low.

This lets you hear the difference between bt and wired.

But once one is outdoors - train, jog, walk, etc - the noise floor rises. Subtle details, quiet passages can't be heard over city noise. On these cases, bt becomes a good, usable alternative.

And among the codecs, ldac at 990kbps is sufficiently high enough in quality to give users cd-like quality music on the go, wirelessly.
Good to know although this is still the old argument of "you can't hear the difference anyway" heh but ya this is comforting that the tech has at least improved to this point. Thanks for the share!

Wasn't this one of the casualties from the advent of smart phones?
I have one of these and the audio quality is vastly superior to any smart phone I've ever owned.

I'm intrigued now. Are there streaming capabilities or is it all from storage? Thanks.

Oh, I see. You're comparing storage on this vs on a phone and it sounds better. I'm willing to sacrifice fidelity for the convenience of streaming. I listen via bluetooth anyway.

Fair enough, streaming is very convenient.

Yes.. especially if you have limited internet access for your connection. For eg: for some parents, they have restricted internet access in their kids phone say 500mb per month.

Audio quality is much better. If you don't care about the quality of your audio than a device like this isn't for you.

I own this device. and I have a 1tb Micro SD car on working perfectly. And no you don't need to import anything into the device. Once you insert a Sd card and power it up it builds the database with all the songs on the card.
