Regarding the display, Newegg does not have any details, apart from 200 nits 45% NTSC Panel. So, I did some some digging and foud out the details. The Panel is AU Optronics B156HAN02.1 which is a AHVA (Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle ) Panel, similar to IPS Technology and normally referred as IPS-Type. This is a 250 nits Panel with 45% NTSC

almost exactly the same as the now expired HP deal from Costco. they must be clearing room for the new Ryzen 5000 mobile chips.

Wow that screen is awful! I really don't get why Ryzen laptops almost exclusively feature terrible displays.

Not sure why USB2.0 ports are still on laptops produced in 2021. I mean, does it cost that less as compared to USB3.0 ports?
I just don't get it.

My comment applies to all manufacturers shipping 720p webcam in laptops when video conferencing is a significant part of the laptop usage these days.

It's almost like shipping a laptop with USB 2.0 instead of 3.0 a few years back.
100% agree!

720 webcam is fine by me. If the higher end Asus Amd systems had this feature I'd have gladly given them my money.

If they've just tweaked an old design it probably at least takes testing and engineering time to make sure they work right. It has 8 vs 4 wires and probably more strict electrical requirements

This one looks good. Just sold my 13.3" Dell 3390 2-in-1 16gb 512gb ssd i5-8250u after 3+ years of daily usage.

Does anyone know if this Vivobook 15 can be connected to Dell WD15 USB-C dock? From reading the description, USB-C port is data transfer only.

I have a Lenovo laptop from work that I typically switch out after hours so the ability to do a single USB-C plugin, 2 external monitors and PD charge at the same time is a must.
