For light homeowner use you might not notice much of a practical difference. But even for a non-pro, you might sometimes have a more demanding task that will benefit from the improved Octane performance. E.g. if you're building a deck, or repairing a car with a lot of rusted-on bolts.

Ridgid says "100% Compatible: Works with all RIDGID 18V Batteries, Tools, and Chargers". It sounds like the newer batteries work in your older tools.

If it's anything what has happened to me numerous times, it won't move for like two months, and then I send them a message and it gets approved the next day.
And yes, I messed this up on the little compressor.
Can I also ask how one would go about using the LSA on a battery or tool? Do I just go to Home Depot and ask for a new battery while holding the old one?
Thanks!
