Good to see Lowes begin to discount EGO stuff. Pro Tip: remove the tube to blow dry your car after a wash, but wear some earbuds, that effer is loud.

Buy the blower with batteries and then sell the blower on marketplace. New 2.5AH battery is 149.99 by itself. Pay $10 more and sell the blower for $75 as a bare tool.

I have this blower. Love the portability and the power. Zero chance it'll last 75min with 2.5 battery

I originally bought this blower, but ultimately decided on the more powerful blower. As nice as this blower is, the convenience features built into their more powerful blower justified the price tag for me...especially that cruise control. I'll admit that it is heavier, which can be a bit more cumbersome at times. However, they've weighted the tool appropriately and does not make it as awkward to handle as my neighbor's Ryobi. Plus, that 5ah battery is a bonus, along with the tapered, and flat attachments.

This blower is great for lighter duty projects and should not be dismissed, especially at this price. However, if you want the extra conveniences, and larger battery, go for the one monkeybiz mentioned. You definitely won't regret it.
I originally bought the bigger/more powerful one for my parents as they have a large yard. They thought it was too heavy with the 5ah battery and returned it for this one. I'll definitely be on the look-out for a battery/weed whacker sale over the next few months though. The small battery is fine for a small subdivision yard but nothing bigger.

It's always fun to watch kitearmy on youtube. The difference between battery blowers is quite significant.

Is it just me, or does Ego and/or Lowes have strange bundling/price combinations? Even before Lowes.

I get it is almost always better to bundle stuff, but I've been eyeing ego tools for awhile and always seems like a bundling game ... might as well get the blower just for battery, might as well bundle the multihead with the pole saw even if you already have the multihead, as the price diff is so small...

multihead + pole saw + charger + battery bundle = $350
multihead + pole saw only = $179
blower + charger + battery = $159
multihead + hedge trimmer + charger + battery = $400
hedge trimmer only = $179
pole saw only = $155
multihead only = $150
2.5 ah battery only = $150
charger = $80
Agreed, their pricing and bundles have always been a bit off to me as well... I purchased the snow blower, because I figure I can sell the two 5ah batteries with spare slow chargers that I have for $150-$200 each, and end up keeping the snowblower for $150 or so, which I can then sell by itself down the road or next winter for $250, if I decide not to keep it.

I have this model. It has good power, but the battery that comes with it doesn't last very long. Fine for small jobs, like blowing leaves or grass from a driveway or a patio. But, wouldn't be good for a large yard without additional battery or at least, a larger capacity battery.

Is this a good deal? I've been on the fence about buying one of these ego blowers for a while now. I like the convenience of it being cordless, it just seems the batteries are so damn expensive, and my yard would probably take a battery or two to clear, especially the small 2.5 Ah.
Get it. Love this thing. Very powerful. We have a half acre yard with a lot of edging area (pool, sidewalk, etc) and one 2.5 battery gets me through. I'm strategic about it, but even if you don't finish, it only takes 1/2 hour to get the juice back.
I don't leafblow my leaves, though. We have 25 full grown trees, and anything but a rake would be ridiculous.

I have 2 of these blowers and 2 trimmers. 3 batteries and 2 chargers. 4 years of use so far. Love the blowers for light to medium duty, blowing off driveways and decks and cleaning out gutters. Not enough power or duration for an acre of yard leaves. That really takes gas power. I have a commercial backpack Husqvarna blower for that. But for 90% of my blowing needs, this blower is great. Plenty of run time, quick recharging, easy to use. No gas mixing, no replacing carburetors. Same with the trimmers. Electric is really the way to trim. Same power as gas and trouble free. I'll never buy another gas trimmer. This is a good deal on an excellent blower that will last many, many years of home use.

This was my first purchase into the ego ecosystem last spring. I've used it a ton around the yard and in my garage to blow out saw dust and debris from various projects almost weekly. In the fall it makes quick work of gutter cleaning. I have a normal suburban size lot and I can edge and blow the clippings away 2x on the 2.5ah before I recharge. Ymmv the blower does eat up battery on turbo mode (which I use almost exclusively).

Honestly, his somewhat over the top videos is part of what sold me on getting into the Ego system last spring. And when I say get into, I went full tilt.

I own the carbon string trimmer, 650 cfm blower, 14" chainsaw, hedge trimmers, and the dual blade lawn mower. Between spring sales and then HDs late summer clearance, acquired all of that for under $1,000 and could not be happier. Impatiently awaiting spring to get to start using them again.

75min on a 2.5ah battery? That is insanely good. They need to sell out their tech to other tool brands. I get maybe 10 mins on my m18 blower with a 4ah

I don't know about the 10% coupon but I used a $20 off $100 on the trimmer attachment for the powerhead with no problem on February 11th.
