I found out that in the app right now for McDonald's you stack Free Fry Fridays (mobile orders only) with $2 Filet-O-Fish Fridays and then order a drink for a dollar. Might be a partial YMMV? My coworkers and I both replicated the deal. I know the sandwich might not be the best in the world, but you can't beat it imo for a $3 combo.

NOTE: In the app it does show the sandwich as full price but when you add to "bag" and go to your bag for checkout, it lowers the price.

I didn't get that filet o fish but did get a free chicken sandwich without purchase. It was below average, so don't waste your money on it.

They're a dollar here still in LA so that's probably up to the franchise owner.

Yeah. We did a video comparison (coming out Tuesday) of McDonald's, Popeyes, Chickfila, KFC and Wendy's chicken sandwiches. McDonald's tied for last. It wasn't horrible - just not memorable.

Had the Popeyes Cajun flounder sandwich yesterday and it was pretty good. Definitely better than McDs filet o fish IMO.
