The Leopard is junk compared to this GE Raider version.

Changing Thermal paste on the GPU is not needed. Just do the CPU with liquid metal and use liquid electric tape to insulate around it.
Thanks!

I bought this for $1499 in store a couple of weeks ago. Just take the receipt back and they'll give me back the difference? Or is this an online only special? Does it matter? Thanks for posting it.

If within a certain time (I think 30 days) you can fill out a form online at Costco.com to get a credit to your original form of payment (eg credit card) for the difference.

I think It doesn't matter if its online or instore. You can even call their main number if you want to skip a visit to the store.

GE Series
This is where we enter the high-end enthusiast range. The GE75 introduces dual 3 W subwoofers, 144 Hz display options, per-key RGB lighting, and GeForce RTX graphics from the RTX 2060 all the way up to the RTX 2080. The model even manages to be thinner (1.08-inch vs. 1.25-inch) and lighter (5.75 lbs vs. 5.95 lbs) than the 17.3-inch GP73.

Just got this from Costco. I can confirm it's the best laptop I have ever owned. Keyboard is stunning and screen display is beautiful and crystal clear. The only cons I can point out is battery life. It's dead and need to plug in to install. Other than other competitions. Display on par with MacBook Air/pro. I can see this last around 4-6 years down the road.

Get up to $90 with purchase on Costco.com with Chase credit cards - see below

Assuming you signed up for the 5X Chase Freedom Flex categories this quarter, you will get 5X points for your purchase on Costco.com. That's worth enough points to get $60 ($1200 times 5%) cash back. Subsequently, if you transfer these points earned to Chase Sapphire Reserve it becomes worth 50% more (i.e., $60 times 1.5 = $90) when claimed as reimbursement for travel or groceries on the the Reserve card. If you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred rather than Reserve, its worth 25% more or $80 ($60 times 1.25).

Freedom Flex: $60

Sapphire Preferred ($80) and Sapphire Reserve ($90) when points Freedom Flex earned points on this purchase are transferred to those cards and redeemed as a credit for for travel and groceries

Most welcome...Also the 2070 8g deal is worth it just for the future proofing added 2gig of ram over the 2060 6G and added extra fps boost for only $100 more.

I am mad at the OP for not including the below in the OP when I had specifically requested it earlier in the thread before this deal made front page. On his account, hundreds of buyers ended up paying between $60 to $90 more than they had to. Anyway, I have now added it to the wiki.
https://www.creditcards.com/credi...ategories/

Get up to $90 with purchase on Costco.com with purchase using Chase Freedom Flex card - see below

Net effective cost is either $1140 ($1200 - $60), or $1226 ($1200 - $74), or $1210 ($1200 - $90)

YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE THE 5% BY MARCH 14 (AND I BELIEVE IT APPLIES ALSO TO RETROACTIVE PURCHASES ). WHILE CHASE FREEDOM FLEX, WHICH IS A MASTERCARD ISN'T ACCEPTED AT COSTCO STORE, IT IS ACCEPTED AT COSTO.COM!

I'll say it again. You can undervolt the processor a good amount: I boosted my 6 core performance 29%, and it runs cooler. You can basically make it as good as a Ryzen (or better) with no risk to hardware. You have total freedom to manipulate power, temperature, and noise to your liking. For instance it runs just as fast at 35W as it did at 45W stock. If I max out the fans and CPU I can run at ~68W and 91C and 4.3MHz on all cores forever.

Undervolting is locked out of most 10th gen CPUs, but MSI allows it. You need to enable it in the bios, and then use Throttlestop. Ryzen processors can't be undervolted.

4th time I've linked in this thread? https://www.techpowerup.com/forum...75.279412/ [techpowerup.com]

I'd never done anything like this before. It wasn't hard.
Are you sure that I won't brick my laptop? I just bought this laptop and certainly will follow the guide.

You have 0% risk! You got this from costco didn't you? Heck, even MSI encourages you to try it - see the link below! Use rruff's GUIDE! He knows his stuff and has explained it like no other!
