Here is advice for doing this from the byod thread:

This is an update for what I did, attempting byod and BOGO. Completed 2 line byod yesterday and went back today after settling on iPhone 11 Pro Max for BOGO. Ported over 3rd line and guy says no need to create 4th line as the BOGO requirement for new line is fulfilled with the port over. After confirming multiple times, guys says I will get the $100 and $540 rebate no issues. Supervisor confirmed so hope that's true

I noticed that he tagged the second BOGO phone to one of the byod lines. I tell him that concerns me regarding byod rebate as I didnt want to touch that line as now it will make it seem like an upgrade but he says it will be fine as the byod rebate is coming from Costco and I fulfilled the requirements by bringing my own device. His supervisor gets involved and after a lot of back and forth, he supposedly does something that no longer tags BOGO phone to the byod line.

Not feeling great about this but they did reassure that if rebates get rejected, they can do an 'escalation' to make it right.
this will take forever as they did the same for me and still waiting for a rebate after 6 months. Hope yours will be quicker. so Today I'm going to Costco as they promised me to either give me Costco cash card for that amount or I can return the phone with their override on 90 days return policy.

Can you share what happened in your scenario?

This offer applies to both the the Iphone 11 and Iphone 12 series. The Iphone 12 is $747 at Costco. So the final price for 2 Iphone 12 is $854 ($747 + $747 - $100 - $540). Is it worth it to pay $94 more to have the 5G features compare to the Iphone 11 Pro Max?

ofcourse, you should be able to do byod anytime - adding new lines upto 2, and get 2 $300 costco cash cards.

Can we please get a blow up of the photo so we can read in more detail? For some reason this is not appearing under "offers"

how long does this deal last?

Can we just by new phones and still get the rebate? Or does it require a new line? Help!

If you mean to drop a line and not using that # for new line. Then it's ok.
Nope. I said any line dropped in the previous 90 days has to be reinstated. Read the terms.

I just came back from a So Cal Costco and the rep told me that you can add it even though you have a business account.
I didn't go through with it because he said that they were out of the Iphone 11 pro max and the other 11s since late Feb.
Only 12s are left, tomorrow is the last day.
Best of luck everyone in getting the phone you want.
Maybe it is regional??

Will this work on simple choice plan ?
Quote from startedfromthebottom :
Based on previous threads, looks like you will need to keep the new line for 3 months before canceling.

Does anyone know if simple choice plans are eligible?
Just attempted today I couldn't get it. 2 remaining 11 Pros started the add a line process and hit an error that my account is a "Flex" account. Supposedly that means your plan is so old they can't add a line from a costco kiosk. They can only add to newer plans. BUT these guys were pretty young and both employees were calling T-mobile and Costco experts on what "Flex" account meant. I tried. So close.

Can someone explain how to stack this with the BYOD $300 plan? Specifically, I'm not a T-Mobile customer right now.

- Do I need any numbers available to port in? I think No for the BYOD plan and this, but want to confirm?
- Which one do I do first? I think BYOD first for 2 lines, and then do this afterwards?
- In the end, how many lines do I end up with? Not sure, either 2 or 3 but could use some clarification.
- Does this work on iPhone 11s and iPhone 12s? Is the rebate the same?

I was able to stack these today with no port in. At the end, 2 lines, one of them free, and 2 iPhones. All rebate paperwork received. I called tmobile ahead of time to make sure that the promotions are stackable and noted in my account. Don't let costco tell you otherwise.

Thanks! Did you get one line free after coming home or at Costco?
