The 4amp battery kit comes with the DCB113 charger and the 5amp kits come with the DCB115 charger, etc. that are designed with cool down and load balancing of cells to charge that battery in about 60 to 75 minutes. Sure, you can charge these 2amp batteries with a 4amp 115 or 118 charger in about half the time, but the battery life is also lessened.
The DCB203 batteries with a fuel gauge are nice batteries and great for low power consuming tools.... an upgrade from the basic ones and not lugging a heavier battery around all day from the belt clip. One can find the larger amp batteries for $10/amp, but these will typically be more expensive..... $75 for the 2 batteries, charger and storage box would be very reasonable, that leaves about $55 for the bare tool.
I am tempted to get this gust to have an extra of this impact. These 2am batteries are my favorite due to being so light. Love them with this impact, sander and oscelating tool.

The DCB107 is 1.25 amps output ... 1.5 amp 20v batteries and above
TheDCB112 [bigcommerce.com] is 2amps output --- 1.5 and 2 amp 20v batteries and above
The DCB113 [bigcommerce.com] is 3amps output --- 3 and 4 amp 20v batteries and above
The DCB115 [toolguyd.com] is 4 amps output .... 4 amp 20v batteries and above
The yellow DCB118 [amazonaws.com] .... read back of fan cooled charger and maybe (1) 4amps for 20v and 8 amps output for 60v.
(1)The first 118 chargers we have, have an output of 4 amps for 20v and 8 amps for 60v stamped on the back in compliance with the DeWalt site [dewalt.com] of "The charge rate is 8 amps for premium batteries and 4 amps for compact batteries." But the newer ones we received are all stamped 8 amps, period. We are still using on 5 amp and above 20v.

Long story short, the Dewalt has nice power, is light weight, but has a very poor impact action. Meaning, that it has good torque, but very low impacting action, and started stripping screws. The Hitachi never had that problem, and handled the same screws fine.

The torque is great, for larger bolts this thing rocks, but for home DIY projects and furniture building, this thing can't really tone down the power. At speed 1, the impact action is not sufficient for driving in wood screws. At speed 2 and 3, the torque/impact action are too much. There is no in-between with this thing.
