By my math, if a person waited until right before this offer expires (4/9), their 4 month subscription would last through the Summer Olympics. I don't believe they have announced what Olympics coverage will be broadcast on Peacock yet but it is expected that Peacock will have a significant amount of Olympics coverage.

These streaming services are such a scam. With so many out there now, its actually cheaper to just get cable.

I know a lot of networks have been doing this and for a while. But for some reason it felt really personal when Peacock decided to remove Office from Netflix. I want to watch Office for the 20th time, but also don't want to give my money to Peacock.
It's not nearly as convenient, but after this happened I waited for a VUDU sale and just bought the entire series for $30. Now I only have to worry about VUDU going bankrupt, rather than the streaming service swapping. I just had no desire to add another service. Peacock and Paramount may have some good stuff, but I'm tapped out. They're too late to the game for me.

Possibly free if you have Xfinity Internet service. You can order the free Flex streaming device to get Peacock Premium for free. Login will also work on a Roku or other devices that have Peacock TV.

Possibly Cox too, but I don't have that service, so I can't confirm.

Is this the ad-free subscription?
No. This tier unlocks all episodes. For commercial free you need to go to the $10/month plan.

I feel the same, I already have too many subscriptions. It is a good idea to just buy out the whole series. I should have bought it on iTunes when it was on sale last year.

Yellowstone is a good show. Has 3 seasons. Archebalds Next Big Thing is also on Peacock now.

I think those two are only on Premium but let me know if they're not, that'll nullify anything attractive about Premium.
Yellowstone does require the premium sub.

WWE network is moving over to Peacock. Current WWE network cost is $10 a month.. so this is a bargain for 4 months
Actually, this cannot directly be compared to WWE network since this plan has ads. The premium ad-free option which is $10/month doesnt have ads. WWE events streams on Peacock WILL HAVE ads, not sure how its gonna work with live events though.

Cable was $140 a month when I cancelled it 6 years ago. Who knows how much it's up to now

Not to mention nothing on from 2 am to 9 am with everyone doing paid programming. On Sunday, it ran well into the afternoon. Then you had Viacom stretching 30 minute episodes of King of Queens and Reba to 40 minutes, so they could squeeze in more commercials.

I'll stick with streaming

Good point. Why spend money on streaming services with ad-free shows I want to watch when I could give the cable company the same amount of money for 562 channels full of garbage with commercials? Why would I want to watch really interesting and informative historical content like Age Of Samurai on Netflix when there are 16 seasons of Ancient Aliens on the History channel?

What's really enticing about cable over these scam streaming services is paying a monthly fee for every room I want to watch TV in and a monthly fee to record shows and having to sign a two year contract to get a promotional price that increases after a year, not to mention a new 'service connection' fee every time I want to cancel and restart service.

I just don't understand anyone's fascination with these scam services. I want to watch commercials and I want to pay for the privilege of doing so damn it.

Looks like charter spectrum customers will get Peacock free eventually.

You are agreeing to purchase a specific product at a mutually agreed upon price.

Isn't that the exact opposite of "scam"?

scam
/skam/

a dishonest scheme; a fraud.
