By my math, if a person waited until right before this offer expires (4/9), their 4 month subscription would last through the Summer Olympics. I don't believe they have announced what Olympics coverage will be broadcast on Peacock yet but it is expected that Peacock will have a significant amount of Olympics coverage.

I had the same problem. I finally gave up and ordered the free Flex box which isn't totally free since they stated they will charge $15 for shipping with no option to drive to the Comcast store and just pick it up.

Two days later, I got a box with two Flex devices. I suspected something was off and not right. I called and they said that I would be charge a monthly rental fee for the second box. I took the prepaid return label and took the second box to the UPS store to send it back today.

The Peacock Premium only activated for me when I did it with the first Flex box. Then after that initial flex setup, I was able to continue with the Peacock app built into my LG C9 OLED and 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro TV boxes. I will probably unplug the flex box and put it away now so I can return it if and when I stop being a Comcast customer. The customer rep told me the Flex Box still remains Comcast property and I would still be responsible for it if it were lost or stolen.

I tried that, but it did not work for me. Before my flex box arrived, I logged into my Comcast account and went to that same link and I got some sort of error. It would not work for me. When the flexbox arrived, it activated Peacock Premium on my account then all of a sudden the Peacock apps on my smart tv and streaming boxes were upgraded to Peacock Premium. 🤷 ♂️

I tried to get my account linked and upgraded before being forced to order a Flex that was going to be unused, and was not successful. Like the other user, it worked only after I got the Flex box. They keep sending me messages about returning the unused Flex. I will drop it off one of these days to get a receipt. I don't trust mailing anything back to Xfinity/Comcast unless I have to.

Appears YMMV.

There was no promo code for me. I just had to sign up for 1 month, pay with my chase freedom card and then get a $5 account credit.

peacock works so bad with spotty internet :/ otherwise i'd be all over this deal. never have any trouble with the big apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc but this app sucks or at least it did a couple months ago.
