That port will support Data transfer up to 10 Gbps since it is a Gen 2 Port. Also, it will support DisplayPort 1.4 and Charging if you use a Type-C Power Delivery charger with enough wattage.
Thunderbolt 3 offers maximum 40 Gbps bandwidth but you need to use Thunderbolt certified components for that like a TB3 Hub or docking station. You can connect peripherals like an external Graphics enclosure to run desktop Graphics cards. Thunderbolt 3 uses 8Gbps bandwidth using USB -C specification for display out + 32Gbps coming from the 4 PCIe Gen 3 Lanes, directly from CPU.

I picked this up last week with the Amex 100 off deal. This is the model number of the 8gb stick in the machine MTA8ATF1G64HZ-3G2J1. I got a second one on ebay for 37 bucks.

I like it a lot so far. Perfect for web surfing and light photo editing. Hearthstone runs great on it.

It has two m.2 slots but the second slot needs a support bracket in order to install it. I found it on Amazon - part number is kymc9.

Semi-annual sale. This coupon can be used on a lot of things if you poke around for something you need.

Got one a week ago with the same screen, it was pretty bad, did not get very bright. I would not recommend it.

Any idea about the screen brightness?

They do not make it easy to find this info.

Huh? The max RAM refers to the max that the laptop supports (two 32GB sticks) not the max that the laptop is sold with. Even if the laptop was sold with 64GB, you'd be better off buying the 8GB or 12GB config and upgrading to 32GB or 64GB yourself.
