For those who got in this deal last year -
https://slickdeals.net/f/13892417-at-t-1000mbps-internet-for-40mo-with-12-month-bundle-if-you-have-at-t-ymmv, your promo price is ending now or has already ended.
I was able to call
1-800-331-0500 and spoke to Customer Service, who was able to extend the promotion for another 12-months at $49.99. I only have internet with AT&T, so don't get the discounted $39.99 that requires bundling.
As mentioned in title, it is YMMV. Personally, my promotion ended last weekend and monthly billing jumped to $70 + $10 equipment fee. So, a 60% increase.
I got the order confirmation right away which showed the discounted price valid for 12-months with no contract. My new billing had started two days back, but prorated so I pay less next month.
This includes HBO Max, so another reason to hold onto the promo pricing if possible.

"Hello i have att fiber and would like to see if you have any retention promotions available. I do not want to add on any services or bundle, im only interested in internet. "
Att auto replies with a link then that you click on and sign into to verify your account. About 20 minutes later someone messaged me back.
"Hi, here to help! I am the agent in charge of your case. I understand you want us to check into the offers available in your account to reduce your bill, is that correct? - LeydyG Social Media Specialist"
They offered me this
"I am reviewing your account and I see you have Internet 50Mbps for $75.00 monthly, and a discount of $20.00 ongoing which makes your bill $55.00 per month. I see that fiber is now available at your address, so at the moment we have two options: we can upgrade your speed from 50Mbps to 1000Mbps (Unlimited internet) for the same price monthly, or you can stay with the same speed and receive a discount of $10.00 for 12 months, which would make your bill $45.00 + taxes and fees monthly. What option would work better for you? - LeydyG Social Media Specialist"
I let them know i wanted the 1000mbps, and they took care of it, after having them sign up they came back again and clarified its actually $50. They also mentioned they did not require any home visits, everything is handled remotely.
"Thank you for your time. The upgrade was processed successfully! You will receive an email confirmation with the changes. I was able to get you a rate of $50.00 monthly for speed 1000mbps. This change does not need professional installation and speed will be updated soon. Modem may reset itself to complete the update. - LeydyG Social Media Specialist."
I went to att.com website signed in saw the updated plan, and also a link to activiating my free hbo max.
They were a little slow in between responses maybe like 10 minutes between responses but low effort as i just replied back when they got back to me. Overall a nice discount for minimal effort.

I talked to multiple reps but they all said that there are no promo offers available in my account.
