This particular model has no networking of any kind built in -- just a USB connection.
A $10-$15 raspberry pi zero could be used to add wireless connectivity.

3rd party toner costs next to nothing and have never had a single issue with it. I swear it is going to outlive me at this rate.
I got a couple of these new for $50 or $60 at Best Buy back in summer 2017. They work like champs & still going strong with no issues whatsoever.

Last printer I got was a new Brother multifunction laser with scanner and sheet feeder and Wifi for $79.99 about 2 months before Covid hit. $69.99 for a used Brother with no features doesn't seem slick for me.

Having wireless is a big deal if you have more than 1 computer in the house. I'm sticking w/ the one I just bought from WM.

Looking at my email, I bought the Brother HL-2280DW (which also has a scanner in addition to being wireless) brand new in 2014 for $57.49. I got the Dell E310dw (which is made by Brother and uses Brother tone-r, but has more features than the one in this thread) for $49.99 in 2018. Both from Staples.
I guess if you need a printer this is good for now, but boy is it overpriced (in the grand scheme of things) for so few features and being a refurb. Time machine blah blah blah.
