I don't get some of these arguments. Some are comparing bookshelf speakers to towers that cost considerably more in some cases. There are many speakers that are better(Triangle, Aperion, SVS, Whaferdale, etc), but sound is subjective and all of their entries are double the price and up. Here's what these speakers are good at imho and many others:

Easy to drive with any AVR.
Good wide stoundstage
Excellent vertical soundstage
Good off axis performance(they sound good from anywhere in the room).
Good imaging if your room acoustics don't get in the way
Ease of speaker placement(front ported and can indeed be pinned to the wall)
Solid although not the most detailed bass.
Clear highs with good detail.
Mid range is could be more forward for my taste, but hey $229.
They can easily fill up a medium sized room with big clear sound up to 90db.
They are very good looking compact towers with good WAF.
But you can read all this in countless reviews.
Pair them with a tight sub or two, cross them over at 60 - 90hz, and enjoy.

You want a more refined sound? Triangle Bro3 when on sale. Plus the cost of stands. Apples and Oranges.

It doesn't say they are atmos speakers, it says Atmos ready. They have connectors on the top that you can set the Jamo Atmos speakers into.

Probably not, at this point I'm convinced these are all surplus, and I'm pretty sure the white is more popular, so not as many discounts.

Is it worth the extra $170 for the bundle that includes the center and bookshelf speakers?

If you need them I vote yes especially since the current package includes the 803's rather than the 801's

From what I can tell these don't include the Atmos speakers. Even if these are great speakers at a good price, this feels like a desperate attempt to trick uniformed consumers.

Speakers are fine for the price. However these do not come close to infinity R263, JBL 530s, Kef q150 etc...

which floor standing speaker is more bang for the buck? Question for audiophiles, which of these 3 tower sounds better?

You are gonna get a lot of differing opinions on this just keep in mind you are comparing entry level speakers so the difference will be incremental.

Since budget is an important factor I would suggest starting with the cheapest(FS52's) and see if you like them. If so your are done, if not return them try the next cheapest until you find the ones you like, that's really the only way you will really know.

I have Janis s606 and find those towers to sound nicer then the JBL 530s I have. I also think they sound better then the infinity r162s I have. They just have better highs, mids and lows altogether

I have the FS52s. For the money, they're great. The matching center leaves something to be desired which has me ready to jump out of the entry level game.

I've heard the Jamos at a friend's house and I'd say they're comparable to the Andrew Jones. I think the Jamo's win when they are being pushed to the max volume though.

If you have a good sub, these speakers would be fine in most home theatre setups
