I have this controller. It's fine for kids and adults with small hands, however this controller is definitely not comfortable for those with medium to large hands. The weight is not balanced (top heavy) and everything feels cramped, at least IMHO.

Agreed. Save your money/don't bother with these. Nothing but issues. Connectivity/otherwise no matter how I configure them.

thanks for the heads up but to be fair my brand new latest gen MS Xbox controller keeps disconnecting for a few seconds and then reconnecting back onto Windows 10. I am not sure if anyone else has this problem but if anyone has a solution I would appreciate hearing it!

If you have an Xbox controller connected via an USB-C cable when you start the app, it may prompt to update the firmware. See if it helps once your firmware is updated.
If it still doesn't work, get an USB-C cable and (if you like) remove the batteries, then you can use it like a Logitech F310 on a PC in wired-mode. You do not need batteries in wired mode. I like the wired mode better as it is super stable and weigh a lot less. F710 cannot do that because it does not have an USB-C port. Also, I reused the USB-C cable that came with my Nintendo Switch, it works perfectly. If you have a USB-C phone charging cable that's long enough it should work fine.
