I've had a few tracfone lines for a few months and I had 1 major problem a couple months ago. One sim card just quit working. Maybe I got lucky, but customer service solved the problem with little effort on my part (took them over an hour before the new sim was working -- lucky I had a spare). Problem free since then. I use this for my "bicycle phone" -- a cheap phone that I can mount on my handlebars and not worry about it breaking. For rock bottom service costs, I recommend tracfone. With their new rewards program (ask somebody for a referral), you can get LOTS of free service with a new account. I have over 3 years free service on two lines from referrals (including some "self referrals" when Target got carried away with a promotion and I got service for no net out-of-pocket cost).

She don't need much that 30$ yr redpocket plan would work but
I'm no fan of tmobile
This deal is 2x the cost but with a nice locked phone
But the 1500 for entire year killed , least with the redpocket I don't gotta pay monthly and her lil bit of service re ups every month.
But all that doesn't mean jak if the service is straight horrible

If you actually find Google Fi tolerable and stay around until you've used up the $49 credit as well, then the phone is effectively free.

Yeah, if you re-read my original message you'll see that this is not what I'm looking for. This is not really a slim case and it covers up the buttons. Look at the case from HSN that I linked. There are cutouts for all buttons and the case itself is just a thin skin around the phone, maybe 0.5mm all around. The one you've linked to definitely covers up all buttons and on the back of the phone the case rises up by what looks like 1 to 2mm, assuming those pictures are accurate.
I have a 60 day plan with them because I need more access. My wife is on a 365 day plan like this and it's more than enough.
Coverage has been better than my way overpriced Verizon plan provided.
It's not going to make you who have to stream and social media all day happy but it's a great deal for what you get. I'm not sure if it's unlocked. I tried to give old phones to our family who was on Tmobile and they couldn't use them but this won't be activated yet. If you get it and it doesn't work sell it to someone else with the plan that wants it.
Ignore the haters that just want to gripe about Tracfone imho.
