At least at Amazon, the Harry Potter sets are always at those prices. I have most of those in my cart waiting for a deal and those are the normal.

I can't say enough great things about the Technic sets; they seem to really keep together better than standard Lego sets and the pull back and go is amazing; we have carpet and they still fly across the carpet with ease.

I feel like Lego sets from maybe ten or more years ago held together better than the Lego sets that they sell now. I have been playing Legos with my 4 year old and noticed that the Creator bricks don't seem to hold together. Maybe it has something to do with the type of plastics they are using now compared to Plastics that they used to or it could just be me not remembering from back then

Someone took a lot of time to post typical 20% off prices for sets that have been these prices for months.

not necessary. These have been 20% off for quite awhile and aren't exactly in high demand. If we posted every time some LEGO set was 20% off we'd have a daily thread like this.

I agree my 7 year old actually "plays" with his technics sets and they are pretty tough.

Although challenging for him at the time, the stunt truck was his first technics build and he really enjoyed it. Highly reccomended that set.

Fix the title please. " LEGO Sets: LEGO Harry Potter 4 Privet Drive $40"
$40 would be slick but $56 is the regular daily price on Amazon.

Saw this one flash at Walmart the other day, it gave me the "only 2 left!!!" then "only 1 left!!!!"" lure while thinking about it so I bit, and sure enough as soon as I bought at 23.99 it popped back to 29.99. That said, just something to keep an eye on if you'd rather shop at Walmart for some reason, it may end up dropping in price there as well. Seems like Lego is doing their end of year 20% off MAP restriction on 3rd party sellers.
