I don't understand why this model is so cheap??
It's the body of an iPhone 8 with the processor of an 11. Using older parts makes it cheaper to manufacture. Great phone for price

I'd get it if I can pay for it outright and no credit pull. I saw someone said they do a credit pull is that true if your already post paid Verizon?

We bought a few of these last year because Walmart has been running the same deal for a while. You can pay the phones off immediately, and in our case, we were able to get AT&T to waive the upgrade fees since we have a premier account. Also, I could be wrong, but I believe AT&T doesn't do a credit pull on upgrades if you have an established account.

If anyone can comment on the specifics of how Sprint handles this for an existing customer that would be appreciated. $149 to replace existing phone on any existing line? Any swap/upgrade fee with Sprint?

Can I purchase the Verizon one and have it used for a PREPAID Verizon to upgrade my fathers current prepaid Verizon phone?

At one point in time, depending on your plan type, adding a financed phone to your AT&T account could increase your monthly service cost beyond the financed phone. Does anyone know if this is still the case? If it matters I'm on an older share plan, not unlimited.

I just ordered the SE as a GoPhone for $250 to use postpaid because I didn't want the hassle of a 30 month commitment, credit pull, or any other bill change shenanigans. Am I being overly cautious?

I'd call an ATT CSR and ask them, but we all know the rep just says whatever they think is right and then you're back on the phone with a different rep who can't help 2 weeks later when you get your bill.

$5/mo for 128gb model when adding a new line on Verizon [verizon.com] (after $329.99 in monthly credits).
64gb model is $0/mo (Free) after credits.

I was wondering the same thing. The contract phone service was like $10-15 more a month. Once the phone was paid off, the service cost dropped. The last upgrade I did was over four years ago though.

Don't forget to claim your free year of Apple TV+. You have 3 months after activating your phone to claim it.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Verizon 128GB to upgrade my aging 7. Don't understand why it has to go through a third party (Walmart) for a deal like this. Don't know if the credit check was a hard pull or soft pull, but it did say it wouldn't affect my credit score. I personally don't care much since I have a near perfect score and should go back quickly even if it's lowered because of this.

The size of the phone is the max I'm willing to deal with.

How long is it locked to Verizon for? Does anyone know if I can pay it off and buy another one on the same line? My son needs an upgrade too, but he is on Tello/Sprint.

Great price on phone, but plan is too much. Lowest is $75/mo. My current plan is $50/mo
