I have this card before but I am not sure when. I log in and see that I'm prequalified. Does it mean I'm good?

For the referral, can my wife refer me even if she only have freedom credit card or a closed CSP?
Edit: look like I can get a referral link from my closed CSP, but I am not sure what would happen to the point since points tie to card specifically.
No don't think your wife can refer you and get 15k points if she has a Freedom, and I assume referring from a closed CSP would yield no referral bonus as well. I have an active CSP but it's been four years since my bonus so trying to find a way to refer myself haha

Should be fine accruing a bonus assuming it's been 4 years since you got your bonus. If you go into your closed account and find your old statements, try and see when your bonus got issued.

Did you have to ask them to waive the Annual Fee or they did it automatically for you? Thanks for any information.
It should be automatic. I did mention it when I sat down, just to make sure.

Will the branch waive the annual fee on the Reserve card as well?
Haha no. That would be amazing if they did though.

Did you have to bring in tax documents to verify your income? I plan on swinging by later but only have my ID with me. What did they ask you? I've never done an application in the branch before. Thanks

Yes, UR points can be redeemed directly as cash back at $0.01/P.
So 80,000 points equal $800 cash?

You can reapply if cancelled before Nov. 2020. Hope you used those points to "Pay yourself back" before downgrading.

Does adding an authorized user affect this user's ability to apply for this card separately?

It looks like Sapphire Preferred doesn't pay for Global Entry/TSA Precheck like the Reserve does. Is that right?

Probably not. They are completely different credit cards. There is a reason the reserve is $550.... There should be big differences.

I was told to bring in 2 pieces of ID. If anything I would think you can email them additional documents.

Can I cancel my Reserve today and apply Preferred and get the bonus? I had my Reserve for more than 4 years now.
