I had got my bonus points in mid 2016 for this card. I then got my points for a Chase Sapphire reserve in late 2016. So I assume since its been over 48 months I'm eligible for this offer?

Yes, you should be eligible for the offer now.

Nope; maybe you should have taken a print out of the instructions Chase gave to it branches from the Doctor of Credit web site

Yeah, I'm not taking a printout of an internet blog as proof unless I feel like looking like an idiot. I don't see anything in the actual Chase ad where it says the fee is waived on the 80k bonus. I could be missing it though, so I'd be happy to say I'm wrong if I am. Most (if not all) people are saying it's on the bankers' screens, and not visible in their own accounts, online, etc. I think people are having different experiences, and it's just really interesting how invested people are in a stranger's $95 fee. For me, I wanted to get some heavy hitter purchases on the card this week. The $95 fee was less of an issue than if I had to find other things to charge to the card that might take away from bonus categories on other cards over the next few months. But hey, I live within my means. Maybe for others it's not a big deal.

Can anyone who has account set up (most existing chase cc holders should already see this card added to their account) check to see if you see the 50 groceries offer under your card benefits?
I tried. I was instantly approved Tuesday. But the new card is not showing up in my account yet. Not sure why. In the past, the new card would show up almost instantly.

Your links specifically say no AF on the 60k offer and Annual fee not waived on the 80k offer.
From their link:

Update 3/22/21:

Here's the public link for the 80,000 + $50 offer.
Increased Sapphire Preferred/Reserve offers are live in-branch as well. The Sapphire Preferred comes with the $95 annual fee waived for in-branch applications.

The key is that you do not have any sapphire card currently AND that you not have gotten the BONUS in the last 48 months. If you got a sapphire bonus over 48 months ago and your card has been closed since 2019, you are fine. If you got the bonus less than 48 months ago, you are OOL.

Ask for expedited shipping you should be able to get your new card within 24 - 48 Hours delivered by UPS ( I called and got a UPS tracking number my card is coming today ( About 48 hours )
Chase will only allow you to get the tracking number on the day the card will be delivered.

Remember the 90 days to spend the $4,000 starts the day the card is made / shipped.

Regular snail mail will take 7 to 10 days

As long as you aren't currently using any Sapphire credit cards and you are truly outside of the 48 months since your last bonus then you should qualify for this promo.

I went to a different branch today. It was far easier.

I confirmed that the $95 AF is waived the first year (it says so right on the screen of the application)

I did not see/notice the $50 grocery credit, but hopefully its there.

I asked the Chase rep if they could expedite the card. They were happy to do so. 1-2 business day delivery.

I went to the branch to apply today and the rep told me the Chase Sapphire Preferred was not an available card for me to apply for. He showed me the screen and no Sapphire cards were listed. I closed my Reserve card in January/February of this year when no retention offer was offered To me. Received my $100k bonus on that card in February of 2017.

The rep said it was not available to me because I had a Reserve card within 48 months. I told him that wasn't my understanding of the terms but I couldn't really argue with him. Any ideas why the Sapphire Preferred didn't come up on his screen as an option to apply for it?
