How long do most offers last?
I will have to pay 95 to start, because of annual fee, though, right, or is that if I have it a year or more?
I haven't applied to any CCs in a while, so I hope it will be a smooth process.

I am not sure if I received the offer so want to confirm in the online a/c details!
Just checked the recent transactions and they have already deducted $50 from my Walmart purchases... and I didn't even buy any real "grocery" in Walmart, I bought Synthetic Oil cans for my car and paid for the labor in their "Oil and Lubes" section...lol
Does anyone know if I cancel my reserve card when I would be eligible for the bonus on this card?

Yes, you have to go into a branch to apply.
I applied in the branch and it took like 15 - 20 minutes. The $95 fee is waived and I got the 80k and $50 offer. I don't have chase bank (close the account over 8 years ago) but I still could applied in branch.

- 6% cash back on groceries
- 5% points on office supply stores, cell phone, land line, internet, cable TV services
- 5% cash back on Amazon purchases
- 5% discount at Target
- 5% points on gas purchases
- 5% cash back on streaming services
- 3% points at restaurants and drugstores
- 3% cash back on online purchases
With that in mind, I try to maximize my total cashback and point returns by using my Sapphire Preferred card in the following priority order:
- Insurance fees
- Medical bills
- Electric and water bills
- Newspaper and magazine subscriptions
- Taxes (home, auto, property)
- License and registration fees
- Convenience stores
- Home improvement stores
- All other B&M stores, other than Target
- Drugs and pharmaceutical expenses
- Miscellaneous online purchases (excluding Amazon)
- Restaurants
At the end of 3 months, if I need to make up for any shortfall, then I'll buy some gift certificates. However, I'm sure that I will meet the $4K spend limit well before the end of 3 months.
Note: I would have paid my income taxes with the Sapphire card, except I got the card after I had already filed my taxes.
