$50 Gift cards bought in Walmart count as Grocery store purchase?
Nope.

BUT... you can always buy a $50 gift certificate (for gas, restaurants, or even Amazon) at your local grocery store.

Im thinking of this way to spend to reach 4000 limit
1) Buy 4000 visa gift card
2) Add it to Venmo
3) Transfer it to bank
4) Pay of the Credit card balance using the bank balance

Is this possible /accepted?

I think you can do that, but there will be fees associated with it.

Are there so many people that don't organically spend $50 on groceries?

The rule is that you have to wait 48+ months after having received the sign up bonus for the 1st card.

Would buying an amazon gift card at a grocery store count as grocery?

Yep. In this case, the CC company wouldn't know if you spend $50 worth of toilet paper or Amazon gift card.

Probably. I bought an Amazon gift card at Walgreens and it triggered as Pharmacy.

I'm not organized in real life. But on my computer, I love spreadsheets (engineer).
