No because you can only have 1 Sapphire card at a time.

Some branch (or all branch) got promotion that will waive first years $95 fee if you apply in a branch. My friend and me both applied in a branch and we both have first years fee waived

Anyone know if you can bring your friend's referral code to the branch for the double dip?

So they get the points and you get the $95 waived

The person at the branch I went to last Friday also didn't know anything about waiving the annual fee (first year) but when we brought up the current Sapphire Preferred offer on their computer, the page showed that the first annual fee is waived (if applying at a branch). So if the branch person doesn't know, just have them bring up the current Sapphire Preferred offer page.

Can I do a balance transfer with this? I have a $5k high APR balance on my Capital One credit card but do have Tier 1 credit (750).....

Was thinking to get this offer, do the balance transfer instantly and then get the $1k credit back. That'd be a slick deal for sure .

That won't qualify as spending

You can do anything but the BT won't qualify as spending to meet the $4k; that's pretty much a universal rule.

Dang, I just did this a few months ago, but it was only $600.
Got my money thoo, even more than that honestly cause I just used the points to kill some of my food bills which used 25% less points

Would we qualify by switching from Freedom to Sapphire? Both my wife and I have Freedom cards on separate accounts.

Is it worth keeping after the bonus kicks in? From what I understand it is 2 points back from restaurants and travel purchase + 25% (bonus redemption). So, it is basically 2.5%.

Costco and WF propel offer 3% on travel and food. Plus many other benefits. What am I missing?
