FYI this is 37.5 oz of soap for $8.25 vs Target 33oz in the single refill for $6.99. Target deal also part of spend $40 get $10 gift card. This deal is good if you want separate dispensers but other than that not really. Target seems better to me

Soap isn't intended to kill bacteria, unless it is labeled antibacterial. It is intended to wash it away. It creates the friction needed on your skin to remove the bacteria when you rub your hands together, but you are correct that it doesn't kill it. Many people will argue that antibacterial soap is contributing to the super bugs we see (MRSA, for instance). It's really not necessary in most situations.

Completely separate discussion, but the argument against antibacterial soap is that humans are losing natural immunities, right? So if antibacterial soap kills the bacteria and regular soap washes it away... what's the difference?

I can't help but be reminded of The Office scene where Dwight says the office should set up hand DEsanitizing stations. 😆
