It was $200 cheaper for Black Friday. I'm so bummed about the complete lack of deals through the Superbowl season when everyone says it's a great time to buy.
I picked up the A8H from BB at $1850 over Black Friday. TV is fantastic and well worth it.
One note: Do not try adding the Geek Squad warranty after purchase, even it it lets you. When I did this, they took away my sale price, charged my card an extra $750 and it took hours upon hours over weeks to get customer service to fix it. The experience was so bad, I'm never buying from BB again unless it's a ridiculous deal.
You could buy it and then price match if it goes down in 45 days. If you spend over $1500 on your bestbuy card (24 months no interest) then you become an elite member and that gives you 45 days to price match.
Also if you want a 77" the A9G dropped from $4499 to $3499 according to the website but really it has been at $3999. So you are saving $500. Both have outstanding pictures. If you don't care about hdmi 2.1 then the 65" A8H to me is the way to go. Bestbuy is the only place I know of that has burn in covered in their warranty.

They don't have hdmi 2.1 hmm.. should i wait for cx to drop or get this one?
So HDMI 2.1 is highly unlikely to be relevant to movie/tv watching during the lifetime of this TV. But obviously you have to answer for yourself whether you think you might need it for high-end gaming.
I was really shooting for it to dip to $1,800. I wonder if it will?

UPSIE Warranties also cover burn-in and are much cheaper than Geek Squad. For this tv at UPSIE: 2 yrs=$90, 3 yrs=$122, 5 yrs=$220. I've never used them for a tv warranty, but they made good on a smartphone warranty. https://upsie.com/tv-warranty/son...eiling=749
I was just about to get the x950h for $1600. This is real tempting.
I would highly recommend this over the 950 from personal preference. That said, the best this was was $1799 so it's still $200 higher than it was in November.
