With travel starting to come back up, this seems like a decent deal. Amex has come up with multiple increased signup bonuses for several cards in their portfolio. The one that stood out to me is the Delta American Express Gold Card. Not only it is now offering the all-time high signup bonus of 70,000 miles, it's also offering a $200 statement credit for new Delta Amex Gold card members. You don't pay annual fee the first year, however, if you plan on keeping the card, you'll incur a $99 annual fee from year 2 onward.
If you cannot reproduce the deal, try Google Chrome in Incognito mode.
Now, to clarify, there are two separate $200 statement offers going around:
1. You get $200 in statement credit after making a delta purchase of any amount (gift card excluding) within first 90 days.
2. You get a $200 statement credit in home furnishing store (Lowe's, Home Depot, Bed Bath and Beyond, Container store and few more). Now this second one caused some huge store. Even though the terms and conditions specifically excludes gift card, people on Reddit reported the $200 statement credit works for gift cards on physical Lowe's/Home Depot store.
If you want to take advantage of option 2 with gift cards, do so at your own risk. For now it's working but Amex can pull the rug on gift cards any time.
And to see the offer, your best bet is to open this link in Chrome Incognito mode and open the link from there:

Just FYI.

I was able to sign up for the 70k mile deal with $200 credit after shopping at certain stores.
I had a friend send me a referral link so that he got 7,500 miles.
I had to unfreeze my Experian report before they could process the application (I had to call them to re-run the application after unfreezing Experian).
