Does anyone know if the SOCs TIULFM9 and FRLTULFM9 work the same for the discounting you mention? It seems that FRLTULFM9 would be a better bet to keep my 2017 ""This One's on Us (AAL)." From what I have read, it appears that the AAL code for up to 8 lines (AALPROMOS) may fall off when moving from from FRLTUL4LP to TIULFM9, and then I would have to convince T-Mobile to add back the different AAL code for 9-12 lines (AALPROMOB) to keep that line as free. It appears that AAL code may not drop out when moving from FRLTUL4LP to FRLTULFM9. TIA for any advice on which to pick.
Mine was migrated to TIULFM9. AAL promo was added back along with other free line promos. My account shows AALPROMOB for the BOGO lines from 2017.

YES, you can use this sim in your iPad. I pay for 2 lines and have 3 free lines on promotion (5 lines total)
I have 2 of my free lines in a iPad and a Samsung S4 tablet, with UNLIMITED data.
You have to call them and tell them you want to use the line (promo line) in a tablet but don't want to lose the promotion and you don't want to open a new line for this.
What they did for me, was block the phone service on the line and kept the messaging and data. That way I am able to use it in my tablet.
Every summer my daughter comes and visit from Germany. I take one of the sim card out of my tablet and put it in her phone..
I call T-Mobile and have them unblock the phone service. That way, my daughter has a phone while she is here in country.
When she leaves I call them back and get it blocked again. I have been doing this for close to 5 years. So I know for a fact it works.
Tomorrow I will be calling to try and get another free line.. (Fingers Crossed)
Hope this helps
Why can't you just leave voice and data service ON all the time, and use it in tablet for data, and use it on phone when you need to make calls.. any issue in doing this..?

It will follow suit with your current plan. Meaning if you get charged a rate plus taxes now then the line will be free but you'll have to pay the taxes on the new line. Likewise, If you current on a plan that includes taxes/fees like the magenta then its completely free.

Interesting, so it looks like the SOC itself determines how much to value the free line credit.
Edit, I see, the free lines are valued at the AAL price.

Did you check why it was suspended?
Quote from hottie :
I provided my SIM and the number on the new line was active for a day then got suspended after i ordered a phone to that line.
