I don't think anyone is expecting much more then coffee flavored water. But my Jura is being sent to service and for $13 it's worth not having to coffee rituals of a pour over or French press.

Kinda tempted to get this with the best buy voucher they emailed out. A little concerned about the reviews saying it spills, breaks easily, etc though

I have the Salton 14 cup version. Great coffee and glass carafe no leaks, spray head evenly spreads the water. Highly recommended great price.

You read my mind. I can't drink coffee (caffeine is not compatible with my heart) but I seriously consider it for boiling water. Most of the electric kettle costs more than $13 and you can't put tea bags directly into the pot. This one works for me at lower cost.
