$800 on one of their products that they themselves warranty? Absolutely not. They are the absolute worst company to deal with.

My only complaint is that USB-C input doesn't allow full resolution and you have to use the USB-C display cable as one of the two KVM links. I originally purchased this monitor to use as a KVM between my work and home computers but in the end the resolution over USB-C sucks so I ended up putting up a separate workstation for work.
For a couple hundred more you get a 4 year warranty with a 1 year advanced replacement warranty and a 1 year accidental damage warranty. Much better deal imo.

Remember that display sizes in inches tell you the size of the diagonal (length of the hypotenuse) and without knowing the ratio of width to hight you don't actually know what the screen area is. Doubling the height of a monitor gets you twice the area. Doubling the width gets you twice the area. Doubling the diagonal doesn't tell you what happens to the area unless you know what the width: height ratio is. For example, if a screen is a perfect square (ratio of 1:1) then doubling the diagonal (and keeping the 1:1 ratio) actually gives you a screen with 4 times the area. If you want to compare the area of screens with different ratios (16:9 vs 32:9) you actually have to do the math.

That's good. But, at the same time, a one year warranty for a $900 monitor is pretty meh. I can get 3-5x that warranty through Costco purchases, which makes sense on a $1,000 after tax purchase.
If this was a $300 monitor, I'd probably care less
Struggling to chose between this and the oled, I'd figure the oled is better equipped to gaming than office work based on burn in problems?... Ratings is giving the oled top reviews for office work too now. Very confused.. was going for the 49 inch curved but now you got me thinking again lol, the choice is between the lg oled48cx and c49rg90...odessey seems definitely for strict gaming
