You would have to off your noodle to spend $800 on a monitor from Monoprice.

If they're selling something that is their brand that is cheap, awesome.

If they're selling something covered by the manufacturer's warranty, awesome.

$800 on one of their products that they themselves warranty? Absolutely not. They are the absolute worst company to deal with.

I jumped down this rabbit hole recently and when with this one from AOC: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

My only complaint is that USB-C input doesn't allow full resolution and you have to use the USB-C display cable as one of the two KVM links. I originally purchased this monitor to use as a KVM between my work and home computers but in the end the resolution over USB-C sucks so I ended up putting up a separate workstation for work.

For a couple hundred more you get a 4 year warranty with a 1 year advanced replacement warranty and a 1 year accidental damage warranty. Much better deal imo.

Wish more companies would do 1000R instead of 1500R or 1800R. From my research 1000R is closest to your peripheral vision's natural curvature. The only one I know of is the $1400+ samsung which I just can't justify paying that much for a monitor with a bunch of gamer crap I'll never use.

I've had the exact opposite experience with monoprice. I have one of their 34" curved monitors that had an issue with the display port after about 10 months of owning it and they sent me a brand new replacement no questions asked as soon as i contacted their support about it.

I wouldn't mind buying this if it had kvm support. If you aren't in a rush it might be worth waiting for one that had hdmi 2.1.

Hi! I work from home like a lot of people these days and have been using 2x 22" monitors and my laptop screen. Would a Dell Latitude work computer be able to drive this monitor off the standard Intel graphics card for work use? Mostly huge spreadsheets.

It depends on what generation intel processor, but most likely not unless you have the latest ones (like iris pro or uhd 630) and you'd have to manually adjust the pixel clock.

Got mine delivered yesterday was it's really really nice. Great build quality as well. I'm coming from a 34 inch urlhasbeenblocked ultrawide and the mono price is so much nicer. Loving it so far

That's good. But, at the same time, a one year warranty for a $900 monitor is pretty meh. I can get 3-5x that warranty through Costco purchases, which makes sense on a $1,000 after tax purchase.
If this was a $300 monitor, I'd probably care less

Struggling to chose between this and the oled, I'd figure the oled is better equipped to gaming than office work based on burn in problems?... Ratings is giving the oled top reviews for office work too now. Very confused.. was going for the 49 inch curved but now you got me thinking again lol, the choice is between the lg oled48cx and c49rg90...odessey seems definitely for strict gaming

Where? I think they announced the 42/43" panels would be available, but no manufacturers have ordered any yet. If they build it for Computer Monitor specs, then forget it it will be like $4000 Alienware oled monitor that no-one buys Smilie
