I was looking for a 850W power supply for a new build and found this Seasonic FOCUS GX-850 on sale for $134.99 at Best Buy ($15 off) for My Best Buy members. Shipping is also free at Best Buy for members. The 10 year warranty is what sold this to me.

Both GX850 and Corsair RM850x are solid PSUs for the price. Too bad they don't have the 1000w version in stock at this time.

I bought the 850w Rosewill Glacier from Bezos for $75 last week. Semi-modular, but fine for my needs. Odd that is less expensive on amazon than from Newegg.

I think Seasonic is the best PSU. I have it in mine and my kid's computer that I built. Warranty is 10 years to 12 years for premium.

I bought that one last month for my next build and/or as a backup. Been using Seasonic PSUs in my main rig for a while now.

Ah, why not. I have an evga G3 850W, and while it's great power delivery, the stupid fan kicks on with almost no load when it's supposed to be stopped. It's really annoying when listening to music on my open back headphones. I'd go fanless, but man, those puppies are expensive.

I updated earlier, the PX-850 is also on sale at Best Buy for $152.99. Not sure if that's the right price for you, but just wanted to let you know.

These are high-tier PSUs and very reliable. If you like me having a RTX 3090 and AMD 5800x, 850w is more than enough for your daily gaming needs (even when you OC a little bit).

I bought 2 of the 850w plat. The reviews on amazon for this brand are horrible, but amazon reviews are usually made by idiots that have no idea what their doing most the time. BB/newegg and everywhere else had nothing but good reviews with a few bad.

Would still select Corsair RM series over this model. The plus for this model is its sub-compact size, however reviews were mixed. Good PSU nonetheless.
