Is anyone else experiencing a problem like this? I don't have a PS5 or PSVR, and I assume Astro's Playroom is always free, so I should probably not even worry about adding it now. However, you never know when Sony will start charging for something that was free.
As another note on how much you can trust Sony, I assume everyone here has heard that starting on July 2nd Sony is shutting down all PS3 digital games? I haven't done a deep investigation yet if they are just shutting down purchases of PS3 games or if you won't be able to (re)download PS3 digital games after July 2nd. If it's the latter, I've got a lot of work to do to load up my existing PS3 consoles with all the games I bought... and hope none of my HDs ever die since Sony makes it so you can't make backups (whereas Xbox does allow that).
I assume it's because their servers are slammed... but the website and the Add to Library button are both pretty snappy. I'll try again later, of course, but please let me know if there's some other workaround. Thanks!
