If you don't see your Model listed which was the case for me Click on Instant Chat. I got a live human being.

Lastly I asked about the SSD slots, and here's the response I got.
Main slot is PCIe/SATA with a max drive of 256
Secondary slot is SATA with a max drive of 256
For a max total of 512
Please post your, if you were able to stuff a bigger drive into either slot.
Good Luck

I like the feel of it, the metal feeling lid helps it not feel super cheap.
I use it for prepping 3d models for my printer, and it's very good at what I ask it to do.
BTW it does charge via USB c despite it saying data only.

3DMark11 P GPU score
3538 - AMD Radeon RX Vega 8
2206 - Intel UHD Graphics G1 (Ice Lake 32 EU)
That's 160% performance over Intel chip. It would seem chip Architecture is just as important as other factors. AMD seems to still have superior architecture in more than one way.

The Intel CPU performance also might be different in real life then is shown in benchmark.
The Intel chip has major flaw which when fixed through software update slows down performance by as much as 30%. As far as I know this issue is still not addressed in current gen architecture and is likely to be around for a while.

Intel chips are full of bugs.

Am I not going to buy Intel chip ever again? No, not at all. However I expect the price to reflect the inferior product it currently is.
But guess what? Software and hardware have vulnerabilities and bugs. They have to make tradeoffs of cost, power, usability, etc., and that's why companies offer many different configurations of many different products. And that's why cherry-picking one incident or one experience or one comparison and using that to judge INTEL VS AMD THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN is stupid.
Not to mention off-topic. My concern is just to correct misinformation, which there has been a lot of.
If bought about 10 of the Intel version (both 14" and 15.6" sizes) over the past 6 months and here are my observations.
1. Processor and RAM on this thing make it quite responsive. I've run some 2D CAD on it and it doesn't sweat. Zoom allows 49 participants on screen on the Intel version (not sure about the AMD version) The RAM is soldered so there is no upgrading but I figure it's preparing for the future.
2. HDMI runs a 4K TV just fine, not sure what level of HDMI.
3. Keyboard and trackpad are not the greatest but they certainly are not the worst. They function quite nicely. The placement of the power button next to the delete key is an accident waiting to happen but I've learned and am cautious.
4. Speakers are not very loud and the Mic on one sounded muffled.
5. The camera on several has a purple tint. I believe there is an issue with an IR filter. It definitely is affected by lighting. I find avoiding certain lights reduces or eliminates the tint.
6. Not much bloatware to speak of. It's actually quite refreshing. If I remember correctly there was Norton's and 3 game links. I remove then all once I get to the desktop after initial windows setup.
7. The wifi and Bluetooth work well. I have fiber internet and ubiquiti equipment so speed test regularly gets me 150+ up and down over the wifi. Plenty sufficient for zoom, etc.Jabra headset works well for several answering teams phone calls.
8. The fan does cycle on and off. Some have more noise than others. I had to send one back (warranty repair) because the fan was hitting something. The return went fairly smooth. I called a place out in California that handles warranty calls for a number of manufacturers. I had to back everything up and send out to them (my cost) and they have a 4 week turn around. About 4 weeks to the day of them receiving it, I got an email stating my replacement had been shipped (their cost). I've since set it up and here I am writing this comment.
Would I buy another, sure. Especially for those on a budget, you really can't beat the build/price factor. Some may decide to get an external camera and/or keyboard/mouse combo to make it work for them.
Are you sure 4k on hdmi! Some posted said 1080p only
Is this intel model ?

Did Intel fix the architecture flaw using the micro code update? Yes they did. Does it cause up to 30% performance penalty? Yes it does. Is the hardware architecture flaw fixed? Not it isn't, as far as I can tell.
Yes the issue is fixed, but your laptop will be running slower than benchmarks indicate. Don't you think it is important to know this? This detail should be a huge factor when you're deciding what provides best value for the $$ imo.
I'm not for for Intel or AMD, I'm in for the best value for my money.

The quote from AMD is almost identical to the quotes Intel gives. Many high-profile security vulnerabilities require physical access to the machine or specific tailoring and almost always have never been exploited in real-world malice (e.g. Meltdown and Spectre), which is why both the companies and many researchers believe the majority of these vulnerabilities are not real-world threats. And just as another example as to why you need to be very careful about what metrics you use to evaluate security (or anything else), seethis analysis claiming Microsoft is more secure than competing OSes despite having a larger number of vulnerabilities found [thebestvpn.com].
nvm, it's not

Memory is soldered, there's a second m2 slot that you can access without removing the entire back.
Any questions on the hardware side I can likely answer, I put linux on mine already so I can't answer anything about how it works in windows.
