Alright folks, as requested I created a video with a step-by-step to replace the front fan and repaste the RTX 3080 GPU. The temps in my machine decreased from 110 degree memory junction down to 76 degrees following these relatively simple mods. Not too bad.

You and everyone else. Everyone coming to slickdeals and posting these 3080 deals from dell don't understand that they will not actually ship.

I've done it twice now. Both times they delayed my shipment every month. My first order took 5 months of delays before they finally cancelled and gave me a crappy 10% coupon that expires in June. Everyone on reddit knows not to bother posting these dell builds because dell doesn't ship. They simply take your payment information, add you to their mailer list, sell your information to other companies, cancel your order and enjoy the profits of their farmed mailer list of people who want the latest technology.

Dell is trash tier right now, hell I'd even trust Newegg over Dell when it comes to 3080 products, and that's embarrassing to say.

Confirmed that if you do checkout on mobile (for me, iPhone 11, Safari browser) the ability to remove the in-home warranty will be available. The price adjustment is -135.24 when adjusted to 'None'.

If you are using Google Chrome, you can press F12 to bring up the DevTools and there's a button on the top left corner to "Toggle device toolbar", this will switch the webpage to mobile view.

I just ordered through chat, $1815 subtotal pre tax with 1 year in home warranty, the I7 11700F, liquid cooled 1000w dark side chassis, 8gb ram, 256 NVME, intel wifi 6. no keyboard/mouse. For people trying to get lowest price, go this route rather than trying to get a 10% coupon code. its much faster. no requirement for any coupon codes..they do a manual discount

8GB single stick of RAM. That's another $60 to get another 8GB stick but really more like $100 because you'll never find an exact match.
256GB SSD hard drive. You're gonna need $130 1TB NVME M.2 if you want top performance.

So just add $230 to this price.

I have to say I just pulled the Trigger on the same deal. Any my neighbor just took my Gaming PC away 30 Seconds ago, He been begging me to sell my PC for $1,000 cash with his Stimi Check I kept saying No 8700K + GTX 1080 Ti. And 1TB Samsung 860 EVO.

30 second ago I walked over told him deals done. He has no idea of this Alienware deal. I've got my Stimi Check $1,400 and I've got his $1,000 cash (I snatched out my NVME M.2 Boot drive with all my files)

I just paid $969.99 for a 11th Gen + RTX 3080 Alienware. Sickest deal in modern times. Now I have no Gaming PC for a few weeks.

Very hyped. I was getting ready to trash this deal until the concept of selling my own 3 year old PC hit me.
